Synopsis
A serious knee injury threatens to end Benjamin Gapany’s 2025 season just two and a half months before the Federal Wrestling Festival in Mollis. Between work on the family farm, rehabilitation and relentless training, the wrestler from Gruyère pushes his body and mind toward one goal: returning to the sawdust ring and fighting for a second federal wreath.

Three years after La force des traditions, director Placyde Corthésy returns to Benjamin Gapany’s world with rare access to his recovery. The film follows more than a sporting comeback: the pain he hides from his opponents and even those closest to him, the doubts he carries alone and the discipline required to keep believing. Set against the rhythms of farm life and Swiss wrestling, La Force du Temps reveals an athlete at once vulnerable, determined and deeply rooted.

Following its regional cinema release in December 2025, La Force du Temps reached television and digital audiences through La Télé in June 2026. A teaser and dedicated social assets extended the story across Playground’s, Benjamin Gapany’s and the project partners’ platforms.
